Our story
A place born from conviction
I am Dounia Rossignol, and I believe deeply in the beauty of shared moments and the power of the places that host them.
From this belief came the desire to create a sincere and joyful place, both elegant and welcoming: the Domaine Saint Jean de Roca.
Together with my husband, Bruno, we fell in love with this 17th-century wine estate, close to the region where we were born.
We decided to bring it back to life, preserving its soul and the environment while opening it up to new stories.
A Human and Demanding Adventure
From the very beginning, I have been present on site, surrounded by skilled and passionate artisans we carefully selected to take part in this major restoration.
As a couple, we complement each other. My husband, an entrepreneur passionate about heritage renovation, brings his experience in building, energy, and technical expertise.
For my part, I focus on designing the spaces, imagining their harmony, and choosing materials... between interior architecture, landscaping, and decoration, my mind is always racing!
Before this, I taught mathematics for 10 years: a profession that taught me rigor, listening, logic, and the value of trying, failing, and starting again until finding the right solution.
These qualities guide me every day at the Domaine, where patience, understanding, and perseverance are essential.
Today, the Domaine Saint Jean de Roca is much more than a project: it is our home, a human adventure shaped by work, dreams and meaningful encounters.
